The Crom is an indie band from Perth[1]. Their name is taken from the Sweeney brothers growing up on Cromlix Road in Perth[2].

Artist Biography

In November 2021, the band released their debut album, Right On Cue with support and airplay from BBC Scotland, Amazing Radio, Radio Wigwam and Prospect Radio. Between February and September 2022 The Crom have scored four number ones on Prospect Radio.

In 2022 the band embarked on a series of shows all over Scotland in 2022, releasing a single, Silver Spoon, on the 10th of May 2022 which also reached number one on Prospect Radio[3].

Awards

Debut album Right On Cue was nominated for SAY Award in 2022.

On the 19th of July 2022, The Crom won a nationwide battle of the bands at The Twa Tams in Perth[4].

The Crom were named Best Indie Rock Act at the 2022 WigWam Online Radio Awards[5].

In 2023, the band were nominated for Best Indie Act at the Lowlands Music Awards[6].
