Associated acts
Savage Cut are a three piece post-punk band from Livingston, who have no regular singer but instead collaborate with other artists from anywhere in the world to create a new sound for each song.[1].
More info
The band started purely for pleasure and the first practice spawned two tunes that were recorded and self released a month or so later using vocal samples. The songs were picked up and released on cassette by Custom Made Music in the U.S.A.. This led to national media coverage, allowing the band to publicly ask for collaborators.
The band write tunes and record at local studios and send the rough mixes to vocalists - sometimes using remote recording – in Greece and America. Tracks are all mixed and mastered in Scotland. Their live shows use a mix of live guest vocalists and samples.
