Reception
the band combine disco, rap, dubstep, country, rock and funk without so much as blinking an eye - Narc Magazine
...a multi-genre feast of sunshine, joy, silliness, psychedelic surrealism and solid dance rhythms... The overall effect is a combination of the solid funk of The Blockheads, tinged with Nile Rogers, The Beatles and Happy Mondays, all laced with the silliness of The Bonzos, Half Man Half Biscuit and Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias. It’s wonderful! - At The Barrier
There’s a bit of soul, some Alabama Five type grooviness and some outrageous takes on modern life in this little ole country of ours. There’s some echoes of early JAMMs/KLF in the vocals and the mixing of rap and other styles with a half decent brass section, it’s all a bit daft but they can certainly play. - is this music?
Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, are taking the spotlight and running with it, and they are having an amazing time while making music that is uplifting for any ears. They are the ultimate festival band and would bring energy to a room full of pensioners. - Discovery Music
...they have an absolute blast on stage and get the audience jumping, dancing, singing and generally having the time of their life...ambitious, fun, eclectic and uplifting - Everything Flows Glasgow
